Hangar launches Hangar Gallery

Building on its experience as a photo art center opened 8 years ago, Hangar continues its support for artists photographers by launching Hangar Gallery.
_

Hangar Gallery has emerged from this desire to sustainably follow and represent artists who shape a photographic body of work firmly rooted in our time. The gallery’s artists, spanning generations and diverse backgrounds, dare to challenge the codes of photography, from conceptual to documentary, reclaiming and transforming the medium. Their works address contemporary challenges such as ecological urgency, gender and origin equality, and the relationship to creation in the era of artificial intelligence through unique visual identities that invite us to question our relationship with the world.
_

Hangar Gallery’s mission is to support these artists in their quest for a current, pluralistic, and forward-looking photography, providing both human and material support to their creation, while promoting their works to a audience of enthusiasts and collectors.
