Sybil Coovi Handemagnon (FR, 1988)

A graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’art de Bourges (2015), Sybil Coovi Handemagnon pursued a postgraduate program in art at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, completed in 2022. Her work has been presented in numerous group exhibitions in France and internationally. In 2018, she exhibited at the Artothèque de Strasbourg and at Galerie L’Inattendue (Paris, France). In 2022, she participated in an exhibition at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon and showed her work at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid, Spain). In 2023, she was exhibited at Beursschouwburg (Brussels, Belgium) with the experimental artistic and research collective Black(s) To The Future, of which she is a member. In 2024, her work was presented at La Casa Encendida (Madrid, Spain), the Musée Théodore Monod (Dakar, Senegal), and the Kunsthalle Mainz (Mainz, Germany).
