"Loving Earth", the 2016 edition, explored the link between mankind and the Earth, through the lenses of landscape photographers.
As a source of inspiration, the Earth fascinates us. The realisation that it is both loved and betrayed by mankind generates fresh questioning of the relations between nature, culture and power.
A selection of 18 Belgian and International artists who for the most part had never shown in Brussels was exhibited over nearly 1000m2. They were chosen for their aesthetic or experimental approach and the pertinence of the point of view they contribute to the theme, whether they were promising beginners or confirmed photographers.
