First publication dedicated to the collection of texts by Alain Bergala on photography. For more than forty years, Alain Bergala, at the same time film critic, director and great specialist of the still image, has questioned the medium and its major figures including Carole Bellaïche, Sophie Calle, Raymond Depardon, Robert Frank, Jean Gaumy, Josef Koudelka, Bernard Plossu, Wim Wenders and many others. The book brings together a total of 27 texts published between 1976 and 2020.
