Baptiste Rabichon (FR, 1987)

Lives and works in Paris (France)

After studying viticulture and oenology, Baptiste Rabichon successively attended several French national art schools: the École nationale supérieure d’art de Dijon in 2009, then the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon in 2011, before graduating from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2014. He later continued his training at Le Fresnoy – National Studio of Contemporary Arts (Tourcoing), from which he graduated in 2017.

His work has been exhibited in France and internationally, notably at Paris Photo and the Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles in 2018. In 2021, he exhibited at the Tap Seac Gallery (Macao, China), and in 2022 at the Reuter Bausch Gallery (Luxembourg). In 2023, he was given a solo exhibition at the Musée Nicéphore Niépce (Chalon-sur-Saône). He has also taken part in numerous group exhibitions in France and abroad. His work has been shown at the Pearl Art Museum (Shanghai, China) in 2018, at Ostudio (New York) and Hangar (Brussels) in 2019. In the same year, Danziger Gallery presented his work at Untitled Art Fair in Miami Beach. In 2021 and 2022, he exhibited at the Centre Photographique Rouen Normandie. In 2023, he participated in an exhibition at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, and in 2024 at the Centre régional de la photographie Hauts-de-France (Douchy-les-Mines). He has received several awards, including the BMW Prize for Photography in 2017, the Moly-Sabata / Salon de Montrouge Prize in 2018, the PICTO LAB – Experimenting with Image Prize in 2021, and the 2022 Camera Clara Prize (awarded in 2023).
