Anne-Lise Boyer (FR, 1975)

Lives and works in Paris (France)

A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris in 1998, followed by the Atelier National de Recherches Typographiques (ANRT, Paris) in 1999, Anne-Lise Broyer is currently an artist and lecturer at the École des Beaux-Arts de Bretagne, Lorient campus (France). Anne-Lise Broyer has presented solo exhibitions at numerous institutions, including the Domaine de Kerguéhennec (Bignan, France) in 2020; the Centre d’Art Contemporain de Pontmain and the Centre Photographique Fontfreyde (Clermont-Ferrand, France) in 2022; the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Tours in 2023–2024; the Galerie Delacroix (Tangier, Morocco) in 2024; the Musée Girodet (Montargis, France) in 2025–2026; and the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie d’Arles in 2026.

Her work has also been featured in group exhibitions, notably at FOMU (Antwerp, Belgium) in 2004, the Musée Delacroix (Paris) in 2019, Les Tanneries – Centre d’Art Contemporain (Amilly, France) in 2022, and the Musée National de Monaco in 2026.

Artist residencies have taken her to institutions in France and abroad, including the Domaine de Saint-Ser (Aix-en-Provence, France), Casa de Velázquez (Madrid, Spain), and the Musée de l’Armée at the Hôtel national des Invalides (Paris, France). Her works are held in the collections of the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Paris), the Musée de La Roche-sur-Yon (France), and several French art lending libraries (artothèques). Since the beginning of her career, Anne-Lise Broyer has received major grants and distinctions, ranging from the Rencontres d’Arles Publishing Support Award in 2002 to grants from the DRAC Île-de-France, the CNAP (Centre national des arts plastiques, Paris), the Fondation des Artistes, and the Villa Salammbô in Tunis, culminating in the Prix Niépce awarded by Gens d’Images in 2024.
